Finally the boards are open! Some people might be just a little confused on how to log on to the boards. Just to give you some information about viosunderground.com, this is really a combination of two websites, a Social Network with Blogs and a Discussion Board (which is what this is).
Now the Login confusion... The two sites were installed in a way that they are combined into one site. Which leads to a little confusion with the login. To integrate the two sites, we created an auto login function and auto signup for the Discussion Board. Once you register for an account for the Social Network / Blog, a user is also automatically created for the Discussion Board with the same username and password.
To use the auto login function for the Discussion Boards:
1. Go to
www.viosunderground.com and Log in with your username and password
2. Once logged in, click the Discussion Board link, and you will automatically be logged in and redirected to the Discussion Board site.
Once you already have an account, you may either login the usual way or you may go directly to the Discussion Board's URL (
http://www.viosunderground.com/modules/smf)
If you went straight to the Discussion Board without logging into the Social Network / Blog, obviously the auto login function did not happen, therefore you wouldn't be logged into the Discussion Board.
There is a login box at the very bottom of the Discussion Board if you went straight to the Discussion Board without passing through the main site.
* How come when I switch back to the Blog, I'm logged out, even though I was already logged into the Discussion Board.
This will really happen if you log into the Discussion Board directly, without going through the main site.
Remember,
www.viosunderground.com is two sites integrated together. So if you want to log into both sites, log in through the Social Network / Blog, then click the Discussion Board link.
If you would like to just log into the Discussion Board, go directly to
www.viosunderground.com/modules/smf and login through the form at the bottom of the page.
