What is Fitment and Stance?

The words "Fitment" and "Stance" is what you would hear often when people talk about VIP Style.
What exactly does this mean? When one talks about Fitment and Stance, this is the correct combination of Tire, Wheel, Offset, Size, Drop.
The goal is to have your rim, a little bit flush, just about or outside the fender. This may be achieved by the wheel's width or offset or both. Now that you have your rim, a little flush, its now a matter of the right type of tires. The tire must be able to fit under the fender, do be able to do this, you have to use a tire that is slimmer than your wheel so that the curvature of the tire would fit snugly inside the fender. Now, when the car is dropped, everything would look perfect.
An easier way is to understand it is to look at this photo
If you notice, the tires are inside the fender while the lip of the rim is extended out. This car has wide fenders to accommodate the width of his wheels.
If your fenders do not have as much flare, then choose a rim with an offset that would allow your lip to be at least parallel to the fender. With the car dropped, and the tires tucked into the fender, this would still be considered perfect fitment and stance.
See photo below
Of course, there will be rubbing, so if one is to achieve the perfect fitment and stance, you would really have to sacrifice.
Thanks to Googookid of DZeusvip.com for the info

I agree, ground clearance of like 2" would practically be impossible. its more of a stance issue than fitment. Fitment can be done with the right offset. Stance, atleast 1 finger, ok na.
There is still a lot of confusion with stance and fitment, I think if we can achive at least the minimum requirements of stance and fitment, we'll be okay.
Minimum stance - 1 finger (can be achieved with lower springs, bigger rims and tires that you can fit.
Minimum fitment - Lip should at least be in line with top of fender (can be achieved with offset or spacer)
of course a lot of VIP style enthusiasts, especially the hard core ones, would really want to slam the car as low as possible, but its not a requirement for S&F. Slammed is ideal, but minimum would still be considered
ayt!

here are some examples of VIP Stance that arent slammed
If you noticed, these cars are not that low to the ground, and looks drivable, but they have F&S.
I'm sure you've seen a lot of cars here that drive that stance and its still drivable with our road conditions.

i think i already get this F&S. galing mag explain ni jay hehe.. ganda neto pag pasok ka! kaso compromised nga talaga yun comfort cuz youd need to have really stiff springs. I think i would go to the extent of modifying my car's body to achieve it tho..
