overheat indicator?
«
on:

did anyone ever see an indicator light that will tell us if the car is about to over heat?
i'm just concern about the vios overheating, that it's kinda hot when you are beside the car and the heat of the engine coming out underneath the car as if its about to overheat... and also other taxi using their car the whole day have their hood opened, clipped from the inside so that it wont opened up when running at high speeds... i was thinking that our cars is prone to overheat (i know that every car overheats) but anyone saw any indication on the dashboard? any light that flickers telling us that its overheating?

Been driving my Vios for almost three years now, not once ko pang nakita 'yong idicator na 'yan, but I know it's there somewhere.. I think that as long as you follow the scheduled service sa oto natin, you don't have to worry about overheating.. Chinicheck nila lahat 'yan e, accordingly..

just checked on the manual, and yes theres an overheat indicator, it will actually show when you just started the engine of the car it will show in just a sec then it will flash out, its actually above the icon of the temperature that shows "COOL" its the same icon but it does not have the word "COOL" in it. its a green color and as per manual the engine will overheat due to the temp outside or if the car is in idle for a long time, or if you are towing a trailer, or a long hill climb.
